Here at NexGen, we understand the frustration that can occur and appreciate that we have a unique opportunity to be that safe environment where asking questions is expected and appreciated. We understand that this opportunity is a great social responsibility, ensuring all students have equitable access to education and support services. Each student has their way of learning, and we strive to meet their personal needs by offering a hybrid teaching method that includes individualized one-on-one, collaborative group, virtual, and on-demand sessions. Tailoring teaching and learning secures a higher level of academic success.

Career Advisors

Our Career Advisors are committed to consistently checking in with our students to uncover their talents and bolster their confidence, aligning class selection with their selected career path. Wasted time, money, and effort can lead to a mount of frustration when a student is not fully aware of their inner strengths, interests, and capabilities. Our career counselors’ guidance can deliver clarity, leading to informed decisions, mitigating a range of overwhelming feelings.

Pivotal Parent-Tutor Partnership

Our parent-tutor partnerships are essential to solidify a motivational support team that remains positive and focused on the student’s aspirations and success. Throughout the day, this support system creates an encouraging environment while maintaining accountability and improving communication. The Tutor-Parent-Counselor support network is pivotal for students to remain engaged, confident, and hopeful for their future, deterring absenteeism, dropping out, and diminished performance.

Equitable Access to Academic Support

Access to academic support is a struggle for many families within the Coastal Bend area. Along with strong community partners, we provide Free STEM Workshops for schools with a greater need. Hands-on learning experiences spark curiosity within the students who may have never been exposed to or realized an innovator was living within them. Our Free Summer Tutoring Program for under-resourced students reinforces knowledge and skills during a time of the year when backslides consistently occur.
